Morning all
Well, the new trainers have arrived this morning to start to wear in ready for the later stages of training. currently waering them around the house to "break them in a little", may have to take them on an outing this afternoon to see where they need to be "broken in more".
Aisics Gel trainers are the way to go.
Will keep you updated on how they go.
but for now, its back to fundraising and awareness of the cause. Do you know anyone that would be willing to sponsor me either on a personal level or corporate level?
If so, get in touch and I will get the ball rolling.

Well, this morning saw an hour of fun infront of the camera!
A brilliant session with a photographer from the local media. however this did not go without a hitch!
Firstly, couldnt find my trainers (quite useful for a photoshoot for a marathon!) so had to squeeze my size 9's into my wife's size 7's and yes, they are pink!
Then along with my "car" and my training cars! (See pics) off we all trotted with 3 year old son in tow to the local park for a photo shoot with a difference!
Well you can imagine the looks I was getting from local dog walkers etc to see me in running gear and pink trainers with a car "built" around me pulling a further two cars behind me (one of which, my son was happily sat in!)
More pics to follow.
Then after a rather cold 40minute shoot and video shoot, it was back home to the warmth and another video shoot to say just why I was taking part in the event after such a while away from running or fitness of any sort..................I dont think I still have come up the true answer!
pop back soon.
